How to Enable/Disable DHCP on HS-80D Boarding pass Printer

1. Run Setup Tool & Test Communication


you can download the tools from our hsprinter.com website.


  1. Launch the 80D printer setup tool


  3. Select the printer connection mode
  4. Click Test Communication
  5. Enter configuration parameters after successful connection


2. Enable or Disable DHCP

Disable DHCP

  1. Go to Product Settings
  2. Enter custom HEX command: 8C00
  3. Click Settings to apply

Enable DHCP

  1. Go to Product Settings
  2. Enter custom HEX command: 8C01
  3. Click Settings to apply

3. Network & IP Settings



  1. Open Network Settings
  2. Enable the network port
  3. Set IP address, subnet mask, gateway, MAC address and port
  4. Ensure the printer is on the same network segment

4. Restart & Verify

  1. Restart the 80D printer
  2. Print a self-test page
  3. Check DHCP status and network parameters
